Due to the recent COVID-19 issues, I am sorry to say a neighbor has passed due to complications from this dreaded virus.  I say this only as a warning to all of us to be vigilant during this extremely trying period.  Our prayers are for the family for their lose and pain.  Due to homeowner association policy we cannot post any further information.  Please be safe.

Are we still using the services of Landmark property management?

Mr. Parker, We do not use Landmarc. We stopped using them two years ago. V/r Dan Hampton

That is what I was confirming. I may be incorrect, but was the property mgmt. one of the reasons for increased homeowner dues along with the drainage repair? Just an inquiring homeowner asking questions. Thanks.

Mr. Parker, Dues were raised about 5 years ago. They were raised in part to pay for Landmarc but the main reason was to aid our savings account which was in dire need. Per our reserve study (posted if you ever need to read something to help you sleep) we should have at least $35K set aside for repairs and other common area requirements. After the assessment for the drainage area off Forest Grove Drive it was apparent we were ill equipped to fund such an undertaking without assessing all the homeowners. The increase was a result of the drainage issue, Landmarc costs, and the reserve study. There are no future plans at this time to increase dues. V/r Dan

Will homeowners be notified if someone in the neighborhood has contracted COVID-19 for situational purposes? The reason for the question is that the first death of this virus in Fredericksburg may have been a resident of this neighborhood. I am just looking out for the health and safety of all residents. Thanks.

I had a tree fall down and I wanted to thank my great neighbors for helping me cut down and stack the limbs. Thanks Wayne and Donna Haun, David Taylor, and Richard Harris. I couldn't have done the work without their help. Thanks so much. Dan and Marie Hampton
